Good morning, and welcome to the 5th edition of Jeffco Crew!

Welcome to... summer?

As a former Midwesterner, this is a wild time of year for me, as the weather reminds me why I moved here, trading what felt like endless months of dreary, cold, never-ending blah for a hilariously schizophrenic mix of gorgeous sunny summer-like heat, bone-chilling tornado-strength gusts, and random foot-deep snow storms. Huge fan. Bring it all on.

And one more thing, I just want to say that the emails I've received about this newsletter have been *incredible*. You're all such cool people and I'm excited to keep building a big, fun community together.

### 🐕 Goldens in Golden

I still remember when I found out this existed. There's simply no way **not** to love the idea of hundreds of Golden Retrievers and their owners from all over the country descending on a small mountains-edge town to [hang out all day](https://www.goldensingolden.com/?ref=jeffcocrew.com). Nearly every Golden small business has some special or treat ready for pups and their owners - way too many to list - but highly recommend this family-friendly, jovial event to everyone.
