Good morning, and welcome to the 6th edition of Jeffco Crew!

Is that snow? I thought it was summer! 🤣

The crew keeps growing!

In six short weeks we've welcomed thousands of Jeffco residents to Jeffco Crew - far exceeding all my expectations. This newsletter and the community behind it are evolving fast - so never hesitate to share feedback by replying to this email.

Should we have in-person gatherings? Want more crowd-sourced lists like the best playgrounds or hikes or coffee shops? Should we all go looky-loo an open house as a neighbors flash mob? No, that'd be weird, right? Or should we?

🧠 Tips from ya'll

Kids eat free on Wednesdays at Tellers. Garbage plates arrive in Wheat Ridge. Friday is Winter Bike to Work Day - are you braving the weather? Is this the best cheeseburger in Lakewood? Thursday is free day at Botanic Gardens (both locations)! An ongoing beer & truffle pairing this week. Or beer paired with macarons? Our local gluten-free brewery is turning 9 years old. City of Golden highlights that those affected by the STL pet-chipping service shutdown can transfer to another provider until end of month. And lastly, Red Rocks is making some rideshare pickup changes.

Some quick last minute V-day ideas: pre-fixe @ Evergreen Brewery, 4-course chef's dinner @ Ballmer Creek, and a very affordable pre-fixe at Bluegrass Lounge. Also, childcare at Arvada Apex Center for 2-4yr olds or bigger kids so parents can date night (or nap).
