Where I poke around our local real estate market to highlight fun finds - great deals, astronomical mansions or killer mountain cabins. A few this week, cuz the market is heating up.
Ugh, my first thought was "oh cute starter home" and it's priced at almost $600k, but I guess that's where we're at. But srsly, a 2BD 2BA cabin-ish home on 10 acres (sub-dividable) in Conifer is juicy for a certain type of opportunistic buyer.
And then check out this $800k mountain-vibes-everywhere 5BD home on an acre outside Littleton:

Julia suggested her friend Docia's Handyman Connection of Golden - "they do great work!"
Patsy & Mark offered up a glowing review for Kyle for HVAC help (720) 216-4207), "Kyle is incredible! He provided us a quote that was half the price of what other companies offered. He is always punctual, professional, kind, and excels at his work. Since we usually work within a budget, he gives us the option to purchase parts ourselves or helps find ways to reduce costs. We absolutely adore him and refer him to everyone we know!"
Jim noted that Andreas, who runs Arvada Handyman, is a fave, and has a ton of great reviews on Google to back it up.
Sarah had a great experience with Andrew at DenCo, "was reasonable, stayed in scope, arrived when he said he would, and communicated well!"

⛰️ Jeffco Water Conservation Programs are live!
It's that time of year again - I just watered my lawn for the first time (don't come for me, I had a horrible lawn year last year). Jeffco has some wonderful conservation programs & discounts available for us as they aim to help us reduce our water use. I just signed up for a free sprinklers evaluation, and they offer discounted lawn replacement and the popular garden-in-a-box program (sells out every year). Get on this before it's too late!
📚 Book Store Closing Blowout Sale
A bit of a random find, but Bookiee Books, an online bookstore selling across the country connecting book lovers everywhere with books that would have ended up in the trash is closing after 7 years, and this weekend is the liquidation. Book nerds, homeschoolers, teachers - attend her in-person sales or reach out ahead of tie to reserve titles.
🥶 Frozen Dead Guy Days in Estes Park
Grandpa Bredo is over 120 years old. For years, he was the resident of a Tuff Shed in the hills above Nederland, Colorado, just 40 miles south of Estes Park, where he remained very, very, very cold. He's from Norway. This is a true story. I can't explain it all - go find out for yourself. Oh, and there's a weekend-long festival starting on Friday, complete with dance parties, ice plunges, and a coffin race.
