The plants are happy, I think. 🌿

🎧 For the music geeks

I love hunting new music from emerging artists. And it is officially kickoff week for Red Rocks - with some gnarly weather to give early season attendees another drama filled weekend.

So this week I'm highlighting this week's opener, a super vibey French pop and nu-disco band from Paris.

L’Impératrice plays Red Rocks on Friday

Then we've got a tune that will get some eye rolls from those of you addicted to Tik Tok, but I'm pretty confident this will be new for lots of ya.

This week our advertiser is... me! I run a digital strategy service that helps small business owners beat out their local competition. We're called Table Mountain and we help folks take their web presence from "fine" to "excellent".

If you're a business owner in need of some honest, straightforward help, let's chat.

We can help you fix stuff, evaluate vendors, build or improve your site or brand, or even automate stuff you hate doing, like producing content or making social media content. Our website kind of lays out our philosophy - we'd love to help some local entrepreneurs succeed. 😀

A few events worth noting.

🛸 Morrison Declares Itself a UFO Welcome Zone

After several “sightings” over Red Rocks, Morrison’s town council has officially designated the area a UFO-friendly landing site. Locals are encouraged to keep a spare lawn chair and welcome sign ready, just in case.

🚂 Rocky Mountain Train Show

This weekend, 11,000 people will stop by the 120,000 square foot National Western Complex to check out the largest train show west of the Mississippi. Kids 12 and under are free. Expect all kinds of model trains, door prizes and family-friendly activities - I found this video walkthrough of last year's show to give you a sense of the event. Grab tickets here.

🎭 Youth Classes from Miners Alley Performing Arts Center

I missed this last week, but I'm sharing because there are a few options that start today or tomorrow - so jump on this immediately if it's a fit. Classes for kids at all ages, including Music and Movement, Create Your Own Story, Storytelling: Fables and Fairytales, and Acting from A to Z.
