🎨 Olde Town Creative Crawl
Every First Friday of the Month | Olde Town Arvada
Arvada kind of kills it, honestly. The art and social vibes are next level. Starting in May, Olde Town Arvada launches the Creative Crawl, a monthly celebration of local arts, live music, and craft beverages. Explore hidden art hunts, pop-up co-ops, floral design, jewelry-making, and even Smurf-inspired Shrinky Dinks (yes, really).
🌿 Free Mulch Fridays & Saturdays in Lakewood
Lakewood residents can get a head start on their spring landscaping with free mulch pickup every Friday and Saturday in May. The self-serve mulch pile is available from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9556 W. Yale Ave., just west of the Green Gables Park entrance. Bring your own shovels, bags, and containers - this is a great way to refresh your yard while keeping green waste out of landfills. The mulch comes from the city’s tree recycling efforts and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
