In news that will surprise nobody, there's just a lot going on around town.
Especially if you venture into Denver, which we won't cover here.
Lots of live music. Lots of food.
And a few parades, because who doesn't love parades!

💦 Dive In - Outdoor Pools Open for the Season
Just in time for the long weekend, most of Jeffco’s outdoor pools are opening up for summer. Golden’s Splash Water Park kicks things off Saturday at 10am (minus the splash pad, which is still getting a little TLC). In Lakewood, Carmody, Glennon Heights, and Surfside Spray Park are scheduled to open Saturday too - weather permitting. I couldn't find a summary of Arvada's pool scene but needless to say it's probably open already or opening this weekend. Bring the sunscreen and your floaties - it’s on.
🇺🇸 Arvada Memorial Day Parade
On Monday, May 26, honor the day with a classic hometown tribute in Arvada. The Memorial Day Parade steps off at 10:00am, featuring marching bands, veteran groups, and community organizations. It’s a patriotic celebration and a meaningful way to reflect, remember, and gather.
🍻 Mountain Toad Brewing’s 12th Anniversary Bash
Mountain Toad is turning 12, and they’re celebrating with a full weekend of beer, music, and community vibes in downtown Golden. Swing by May 23-26 for food trucks, live bands, new beer releases, and their signature laid-back patio scene.

That thing every other week where I poke around our local real estate market to highlight fun finds - great deals, astronomical mansions or killer mountain cabins.
This week we kick off with a 3BD / 2.5BA Evergreen home that has the most intention window wall I've seen in a long time. Especially under $1m.
I mean for $885k in Evergreen on a 2 acre lot, it's not a bad find.
Moving on but very much holding to the "outdoor living is everything" theme...
