School's out, pools are open, farmers markets are opening.
As I've mentioned, I'm going to be organizing a Jeffco Crew get together, still working on exactly where and when. I appreciate everyone's feedback on day/time - feel free to share your preferences here, more the merrier

📚 Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale
Book lovers, this one’s for you. The Jefferson County Library Foundation’s Spring Whale of a Used Book Sale is happening all weekend long - May 30th thru June 1st at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Browse thousands of gently used books, DVDs, and more, all at bargain prices. Proceeds support local libraries, so every purchase does some good.
🍅 Golden Farmers Market is Back
One of Jeffco’s favorite weekend traditions returns - the Golden Farmers Market kicks off its 2025 season this Saturday, and runs every Saturday through early October. Held just west of downtown along Clear Creek, the market features local produce, fresh flowers, baked goods, handmade products, and a serious Saturday morning vibe. Come hungry - and bring a tote.
🎻 GoldenGrass Bluegrass Weekend at New Terrain
GoldenGrass returns to New Terrain Brewing for three days of foot-stompin’ fun - Friday through Sunday. This free outdoor fest features 15+ bluegrass acts, a packed food truck lineup, and a beer garden vibe with stunning mountain views. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your friends - and settle in for a weekend of local brews and live tunes.
🍺 Over Yonder Brewing’s 6th Anniversary Weekend
Over Yonder is turning 6, and they’re celebrating with a two-day party filled with everything they love - small-batch craft releases, live music, good food, and the Golden outdoors. Join the crew Friday through Saturday for jam-filled sets from The Stellar Jays (think Phish, Dead, and beyond) and a Saturday performance by Parky Jobbins bringing funky, soaring melodies. Surrender to the flow and raise a glass with your neighbors.
