Jeffco Crew #024 - Tarot Cards, Mezcal & Kintsugi

Good morning and happy hump day!
Fun fact our survey last week on which day to send this weekly missive was a photo-finish tie for Tuesday and Wednesday.
For the time being I'll aim for Wednesday mornings as a bit of an in-between, and because it lines up with my other commitments a bit better than Tuesday sends.
It also feels a little more useful, being slightly closer to the weekend.
That mental transition between the beginning of the week and the downslope towards the weekend that kicks in at some point on Wednesday.
Maybe that's just me.
Anyway, let's get into it! Lots of really unique events this week!
🏡 Looky Loo
That thing every other week where I poke around our local real estate market to highlight fun finds - great deals, astronomical mansions or killer mountain cabins.
This week's find is one of my favorites so far. Look how odd it comes across at first.

This 5BD, 6.5+BA gem is a one-of-one home that despite its size seems incredibly calm and welcoming to me, deploying consistently soft wood and sight lines that just isn't possible with a more common overall layout.

The place clocks in at $6.85m, so ya know, life goals, but I gotta say I see a lot of gaudy, clunky efforts at this price range.

Even at it's grandest elements this home seems to hit the right balance between museum and home. And it's tucked into 35 acres of sprawling land north of Golden.
Wowza. I'm not even gonna try to feature another home this week.
