Jeffco Crew #030 - Movies, Whiskey & Fine Art

It's August? How did that happen.

Quick update: We're targeting Thursday, August 14th for Jeffco Crew Meetup #001 and I'll share a location soon, as I'm in DM ping-pong with a few different breweries. Looking forward it! It'll be happy hour-ish hours if that helps any of you plan ahead. I'd previously mentioned a Wednesday, but my schedule can't make it work, so apologies if that threw anyone off.

I'm taking a more curated approach for the newsletter this week, I hope you like it. ❤️

In other news, I just got back from Upstate New York, in the Adirondack Mountains, which are beautiful and very different than our majestic ranges here in Colorado.

I go every year and absolutely love it out there - it's extremely lush and green, almost tropical in some ways due to the humidity.

A nice contrast to life out here - I recommend a visit if you get a chance!

That thing every other week where I poke around our local real estate market to highlight fun finds - great deals, astronomical mansions or killer mountain cabins. 

This week I found some lower-priced fun. This first one is a 3BD, 1BA writer's cabin west of Littleton listed at $450k.

I mean this thing has some serious author energy.

Then, check out this 5BD, 2BA spot out in Coal Creek listed at $565,000. It could use a little love but I don't see a lot of places with this kind of potential for under $600k these days.

Good bones, as they say? And 3,000 square feet. Nice.

🎨 Golden Fine Arts Festival

This juried festival (in it's 35th year) brings over 100 artists from across the country to downtown Golden for a weekend of painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, and more. Saturday & Sunday from 10am - 5pm. Set along Clear Creek and just blocks from local shops and cafes, it’s one of the region’s most scenic art events. I go every year!
