Kicking off this week with a quick reminder that we're having our second community meetup at Morris and Mae in Golden from 4- 6pm on Thursday, September 11th.

I hope to see lots of you there!

Bring friends, we'll convince them to join the newsletter in person LOL.

And aside from that, lots of fun to be had this week and weekend, although I'm betting lots of you are camping or fishing or hiking or otherwise enjoying those big hills we live next to.

Where I choose a few songs for you to enjoy - and request your suggestions!

This week I'm featuring some music that I use as background work music.

This Lamchopz track rolls along beautifully and doesn't get in the way. Groovy enough to pay attention to, surely, but also quite effective as background texture for focused work.

Another smooth, rolling track from KYRIL that layers in some spoken word. The keyboards, drums and horns here are just beautiful. This has a "wake up to see the sun rise" thing going on for me.

🎨 Affordable Arts Fest

This is so cool. A one-day art fair in Littleton featuring gallery-quality pieces priced at $150 or less. A great chance to pick up unique, budget-friendly art from local and regional creators.

🥧 Pine Grove Day

Take a scenic drive up to the historic Pine Grove community for this cozy end-of-summer festival. From 10am - 4pm on Saturday, enjoy a vendor fair, food trucks, pie tastings, and live music - plus that slower mountain pace that feels rare in Jeffco. It’s free, family-friendly, and a sweet reminder of what makes these small towns so memorable. Louder for the people in the back: pie tastings.
