Nice holiday weather!

Kicking off this week with a quick reminder that we're having our second community meetup at **Morris and Mae in Golden from 4- 6pm on Thursday, September 11th**.

I hope to see lots of you there!

Bring friends, we'll convince them to join the newsletter in person LOL.

And aside from that, lots of fun to be had this week and weekend, although I'm betting lots of you are camping or fishing or hiking or otherwise enjoying those big hills we live next to.

Let's get into it.

## 🎧 We Listen

*Where I choose a few songs for you to enjoy - and* [*request your suggestions*](https://tally.so/r/mYpYZ6?ref=jeffcocrew.com)*!*

This week I'm featuring some music that I use as background work music.

[![](https://jeffcocrew.com/content/images/2025/08/image-5.png)](https://open.spotify.com/track/7FpsRasb8HULLUK1dzO6O6?si=21b5c617cfe2448f&ref=jeffcocrew.com)

[Out of my mind...](https://open.spotify.com/track/7FpsRasb8HULLUK1dzO6O6?si=6a7cd9428ca34c41&ref=jeffcocrew.com)

This [Lamchopz track](https://open.spotify.com/track/7FpsRasb8HULLUK1dzO6O6?si=e56c7ce961be45e7&ref=jeffcocrew.com) rolls along beautifully and doesn't get in the way. Groovy enough to pay attention to, surely, but also quite effective as background texture for focused work.

[![](https://jeffcocrew.com/content/images/2025/08/Screenshot-2025-08-27-at-12.28.37---PM.png)](https://open.spotify.com/track/0pX45IguK6bnrLn5jCcfQE?si=0e8835bdaf2d45f0&ref=jeffcocrew.com)

[May I please...](https://open.spotify.com/track/0pX45IguK6bnrLn5jCcfQE?si=0e8835bdaf2d45f0&ref=jeffcocrew.com)

Another smooth, rolling [track from KYRIL](https://open.spotify.com/track/0pX45IguK6bnrLn5jCcfQE?si=98ba4201181e4bc7&ref=jeffcocrew.com) that layers in some spoken word. The keyboards, drums and horns here are just beautiful. This has a "wake up to see the sun rise" thing going on for me.

Take a scenic drive up to the historic Pine Grove community for this cozy end-of-summer festival. From **10am - 4pm on Saturday**, enjoy a vendor fair, food trucks, **pie tastings**, and live music - plus that slower mountain pace that feels rare in Jeffco.
