Jeffco Crew #035 - Car Shows, Anniversaries & Our Meetup

TOMORROW!
We're gathering for a casual meetup to share a drink with our neighbors. Come join us, we're a friendly bunch.
š Thursday 9/11 at Morris & Mae from 4 - 6pm (link to map)
I hope to see some new faces, or a few repeat offenders from our Arvada event last month. Looking forward to it!
Let's get into it.
š§ We Listen
Where I choose a few songs for you to enjoy - and request your suggestions!
Big fan of Connor Price and his buddy Nic D. This one just kind of rolls along in that head bopping way.

Okay for this next one, big disclaimer. This is Eminem-ish rap, so proceed with caution. Also has a Ren thing going on, who I highlighted a bit ago.
NF is raw grit and intense emotionality. If that's your jam, click on.

šļø Featured Event
Interested in a featured event? š„ Drop me a line, let's talk.
š The Denver Gem Show
I had to include this because we love it. The biggest gem show in Denver returns with over 350 vendors from around the globe setting up at the National Western Complex. This 10-day treasure hunt features minerals, fossils, gems, and jewelry for collectors and curious visitors alike. Whether you're hunting for a specific specimen or just want to marvel at Earth's natural wonders, the event offers something for everyone from serious collectors to families looking for a unique outing. Daily admission runs 9am-6pm, and you can snag free tickets by joining their email list. The sheer scale and variety make it worth the trip, especially if you've never seen rare minerals and fossils up close.
šŖ Boogie Down at WanderFest '25
New Terrain is celebrating nine years in business with a weekend of live music and rare beer releases. The Golden brewery will have four bars running (including a special rare beer bar) and multiple food trucks on site. Friday's lineup includes Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band, The Sweet Lillies, and a Bob Marley tribute band. Saturday brings six acts from noon to 9:30pm, including Kendall Street Company from Virginia and several local Colorado bands. Free entry both days, plus commemorative pins while they last. Saturday also features an ice cream truck and face painting for families.
šØ Day of the Arts
The Center for the Arts Evergreen wraps up its 50th anniversary year with this free community celebration showcasing local artistry. The all-ages event features live performances from area nonprofit arts organizations, an artisan makers market, food and drinks, and kids' crafts and activities. It's evolved from a formal fundraiser into a casual community gathering that highlights the diverse creative talent in our mountain communities. Free admission makes it an easy way to support local arts and discover new artists right in your backyard.
š 6 & 40 5th Anniversary Celebration
The classic car-themed brewery in Lakewood marks five years of serving craft beer "for when your engine is running a pint low." This family-owned operation has built a loyal following with their automotive-inspired atmosphere and solid lineup of handcrafted ales and seltzers. Expect anniversary specials, likely some vintage car displays, and the same friendly community vibe that's made this industrial park brewery a local favorite. Their heated patio and regular rotation of food trucks make it a comfortable spot to celebrate their milestone.
