Tuesday 3/04

5pm / Marmalade Lounge (Arvada) - 🎭 Mardi Gras Celebration, visit their sidewalk bar for specials on Hurricanes, Sazeracs, and Louisiana’s own Abita Beer.

5:30 - 7pm / Olde Town (Arvada) - 💃🏻 Mardi Gras Brass Band March, a vibrant celebration that brings Mardi Gras right to Arvada.

5:30 - 7:30pm / Foothills Art Center (Golden) - 🎨 Exploring the Elements of Art Class, first of 4 weeks, artists take on advanced explorations in the elements of art, for experienced artists.

6pm / Crown Hill Park & Illegal Pete’s (Wheat Ridge) - 🏃🏻‍♀️ Golden Trail Runners Run Club, Crown Hill Park for 1-3 laps on the Outer Loop Trail (2.4 miles), followed by Illegal Pete’s for food and drink

6pm / Buffalo Rose (Golden) - 🎉 Golden Mountain Mardi Gras Charity Concert, feat. southern funk maestros Krewe de Groove.

6:30 - 8:30pm / Old 121 Brewhouse (Lakewood) - 📚 Book Swap, have a beer and pass along books to new readers in exchange for different books to take home

Wednesday 3/05

All Day / Most Breweries (Countywide) - 🍺 Colorado Pint Day, a tradition that has reached cult-level status with beer lovers flocking to participating breweries every year to purchase limited edition glassware. $1 of each glass sold will be donated to the @coloradobrewersguild and its mission to promote, protect, and propel independent craft breweries in the State of Craft Beer.

3 - 5pm / Foothills Art Center (Golden) - 🎨 Figure Drawing Class, a facilitated, independent study of figure drawing with a professional nude fine arts model via Art of Modeling. All skill levels welcome. Age 18+.

12:30 - 3:30pm / Center for the Arts (Evergreen) - 🖼️ Painting in Peace, a free oil painting class for veterans, taught by a veteran

5:30 - 7pm / Jeffco Library (Edgewater) - 🎨 Creating Artful Stamps, the art of linocut printmaking. Hands-on workshop, participants will carve their own designs into a linoleum block & use this to create original works on paper.

5:30 - 8pm / Foothills Art Center (Golden) - 🏺 Modern Kintsugi, a 400 year old Japanese art form of the mending of ceramics — creating beauty from brokenness. All welcome and all materials provided.
